Value of Writing via a Blog

On Friday last week, I delivered a talk to the Society of Genealogists, “Finding Your Writing Voice”…..I said that posts that have been written at earlier times are able to be picked up by Google and other such search engines.

Following that session, I thought I ought to share a post as it has been over a week since I wrote one. I spotted that there was a comment that had not been published.

The quote was placed on this post from 2018.

In that post I shared a photograph of a maternal great Grandmother, Mary Elizabeth Elstone. It was because I named her that the post meant something to the enquirer and they left a comment.
