Sunday Stamps – International Stamp Exhibition May 1980

i
Welcome, to the latest Sunday Stamps posting.

This weeks stamp was produced in the UK in 1980 for the International Stamp Exhibition. For some reason it was always one of my favourites.

Submitted as Sunday Stamps hosted by Viridian’s Postcard Blog

I like the way the design of the Queen fits in with the rest of the design. She seems more at home on that stamp than she does on others.

  5. I didn't have, or at least I don't remember having, the stamp but I did have the post office issued postcard which I couldn't bear to part with for a long time.
